Innovation Alliance: Five Italian Trade Fairs for Food Industry packaging and machinery to converge to one big event

Starting 2018, five Italian Trade Fairs devoted to Food Industry packaging and machinery will join forces and become one big event in Rho (near Milan).  Until today, the different Italian industries had their own separate events: Food packaging had Ipack-Ima, Food Machinery industries Meat Tech, plastic and rubber packaging sector Plast, printing industry Print4all and logistic sector IntraLogistica.

All those industries, though, belong to the wider sector of Food Industries Packaging and machinery. Therefore, after two years of negotiating, the Associations of producers, together with the Fair organization (Fiera Milano) and the Ministry of Economic Development have decided to organize one single event, combining all the previous ones.

Therefore, from 29th May to 1st June 2018, they will launch the new Trade Fair “Innovation Alliance”. The Fair will be organized by Milano Fiere in Rho site and has the objective to attract 180 thousand visitors, mostly from abroad, following the German experience of Interpack in Dusseldorf.
